At the beginning of class the homework (practice declining nouns) was checked and graded.
We went over the final two of the packet - declining third declension neuter nouns. These are difficult because neuter nouns have new endings, and because the base of third declension nouns changes based on case.
We did two exercises from Magister Abney's website for Ecce Romani I. The two exercises practice conjugation neuter words, one is second declension and one is third declension.
We then talked about how to translate each of the six cases into English.
We did exercise three from the following worksheet - changing nouns from singular to plural in the appropriate case and declension. The answers were covered in class and are listed here.
There will be a quiz on Monday over the information covered on the original noun worksheet from Tuesday.
